Alicia Koontz is a junior at CSUSM and a Literature and Writing major. When she is finished with her schooling, she hopes to work as a high school English teacher. Her main hobby is reading, and her favorite genres are mystery and horror. Her literary influences include Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, Jim Butcher, Sylvia Plath, and Dean Koontz (unfortunately, no relation). She is a mother to two wonderful daughters. They keep her busy with soccer, band, field hockey, etc. when she isn’t at work or school.

We are a group of literature and writing studies undergraduates curating the December issue of the future online literary journal for California State University San Marcos’ Literature and Writing Department. This issue focuses on fan fiction, which we define as “works of fiction or poetry that are continuations of or relate to films, narrative video games, podcasts, television shows, graphic novels and/or Anime/Manga.” View all posts by Fiendish Fan Fiction
